State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 2964 Circle Based Officers (CBO) on a regular basis across various circles in the country. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online from 9th May 2025 to 30th June 2025.

Pay Scale:
Starting Basic Pay of ₹48,480 in the scale of ₹48,480–2000/7–62,480–2340/2–67,160–2680/7–85,920 (JMGS-I)
Plus 2 advance increments for candidates with minimum 2 years’ experience as officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/Regional Rural Bank.
2. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:

Minimum: 21 years
-
Maximum: 30 years (as on 30.04.2025)

Candidates must have been born between 01.05.1995 and 30.04.2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation:
-
SC/ST: 5 years
-
OBC: 3 years
-
PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
-
PwBD (OBC): 13 years
-
PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification:
-
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.

Candidates with degrees in Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible.
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (as on 30.04.2025).
Local Language Proficiency:
-
Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in one of the specified local languages of the Circle they are applying for.

Candidates who have studied the specified local language at 10th or 12th level will be exempted from the language test.
